The bearcat scanner Uniden 3500XLT works in a very broad frequency range (25-1300 MHz) and supports modulations: FM, WFM, AM. Using the bearcat scanner we can receive weather information, signals from short-wave radios, radio programs, etc. The device operates within the range of up to several kilometers, however, it is worth noting, that weather conditions and building density can cause shortening of this distance.

Signal scanning occurs extremely fast - 100 channels per second, while the captured frequencies are saved in 10 memory banks, which can contain 200 detected frequencies in total. Close Call, that is capturing the strongest signals within the range of the device operation, is an extremely convenient function. To strengthen the security and comfort of communication between people using the same channel, the device utilises CTCSS (Continuous Tone-Coded Squelch System) technology which reduces noise generation. Additionally, the supporting system of DCS (Digital Code Squelch) uses encrypted, digital noise blocker and transmits several tones, being an encoded number, instead of one. The speaker is activated only in the case of tone compliance with the programmed code.

The comfort of the scanner use is increased by its capability to cooperate with external devices. By connecting a voice recorder to the headset output, we can record transmissions and then store them on removable memory cards. It is also possible to purchase BUT ARC3500 / BUT ARC3500 PRO dedicated software, which will enable efficient communication with a computer. Uniden UBC-3500XLT is an ideal choice for people who conduct eavesdropping as a hobby, want to communicate by means of radio transmission, and also those who need perfect solution for receiving signals from a spy bug.
