Lenses and prisms are aligned to form a roof array. Low light-splitting (dispersion) glass ensures full clarity, with no distortion at the edges. XR anti-reflective coatings improve light transmission and thus ensure high resolution, brightness and color fidelity. On the outside, the lenses are covered with ArmorTek hydrophobic coatings. They protect them from scratches, as well as the adhesion of dirt and grease.

Advanced design

Thanks to the roof system, Vortex Viper models are lighter and more compact than binoculars with Porro prisms. They feature a high level of waterproofing and water resistance. They work reliably in all conditions - neither moisture nor dust threatens them. Argon inside the binoculars protects the optics from fogging up during sudden temperature changes. What's more, the body is additionally covered with a rubber coating, which ensures a firm grip.
