Coantec C40 is a series of professional borescope cameras resistant to oils and liquids. Innovative solutions such as camera lens control in scope of 360° and 160°, wide viewing angle of 120 in combination with optional lens with the diameter of 2.8 - 6.0 mm enable operation even in the darkest corners.

Coantec C40 is a modern series of professional borescope cameras Coantec M3. A series of M4 technical endoscopes has been equipped with a 1000 px resolution camera with 8x image zooming. The probe of the borescope camera is waterproof and resistant to humidity and oil, and is used in searching fuel tanks, all kinds of plumbing installations and etc. Depending on the model the depth of field of the lens can be 3-30 mm/ 5-50 mm/ 10-100 mm/ 25-100 mm with the viewing angle of 70°/120°.
Available legths
Technical endoscope Coantec C40 is available with the following diameters of probe: 2.8 mm, 3.8 mm and 6 mm. Maximum length for the diameters 2.8 and 3.8 mm is 2 m, while for other diameters is 7m.
The probe of the Coantec C40 camera has 360° system which enables to reach to all curves and bends in narrow spaces. Horizontal rotation range 360° at the bending range of the joint at an angle of max. 160°.
Sapphire lens made of reinforced glass used in optics ensures resistance against any scratches.
The main unit has been equipped with a large 3.5" TFT LCD display which provides image preview in real time.
The borescope camera view can not only be viewed in real time but it also be recorded. The operator receives the footage in the form of (jpg) photos and (avi)video recordings.
The camera's functionality allows you to save movies and photos on removable memory card with a maximum supported capacity of 32 GB.
The inspection camera is powered by the 18650 mAh rechargeable battery and when fully charged allows for 4.5 hours of continuous operation. Additionally, the device has a timer turn-off function that can be set to 5, 10 or 15 minutes.
A key feature of the borescope camera is image zooming. In real time the device enables 4x zooming while it’s 8x zooming of the saved image.
There are ceramic LED diodes in the front part of the probe with the light intensity 20000 lx. Moreover, it is possible to brighten the image, enhance the contrast or change the viewing mode to better diagnose the problem.
The probe of the technical endoscope has been made in compliance with the IP67 standard, which ensures protection of the lens against liquids (max. 30 minutes of continuous immersion) while the main unit with the display complies with the protection standard IP55.
