The CMI Intoxilyzer 800 breathalyzer is designed for security services, public building security and factories. It uses a side exhaust system - more hygienic and safer for the operator than other breathalyzers. CMI is a sister brand of leading US company Lion.

The CMI Intoxilyzer 800 was developed at Lion Laboratories to speed up and improve working conditions for law enforcement officers. With a reinforced design and durable polycarbonate material, the I-800 can handle any conditions.

Latest technology

An electronic sensor, a microcontroller and a large display - this is how Lion Laboratories created a breathalyzer that is robust and accurate, yet very easy for the operator to use.

Insensitive to other substances

The breathalyzer, unlike most other such devices, does not confuse the detected alcohol concentration with other substances, such as mouthwash or candy with alcohol. As a result, the results shown are never skewed.

Instant test

The CMI Intoxylizer 800 immediately shows whether the result is positive or negative. In the case of a positive result, the breathalyzer takes 18-30 seconds for an accurate reading.

Wide temperature range

The I-800 is designed to protect buildings. Thus, it operates in a temperature range from -5°C to +50°C. Thus, it maintains its accuracy in both hot and cold weather, but also in rooms with air conditioning.

The quality of the CMI Intoxilyzer 800 is certified by the US DOT (Department Of Transport) and NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration).
