The adapter allows to easily attach a night vision device to a regular camcorder or a photo camera to take pictures or record video in nocturnal conditions.
Most cameras and camcorders offer a night work mode, but none of them would provide results as good as those granted by night vision devices. Combining night vision with the ability to take pictures or record video, the user obtains an excellent instrument for night time observations and recording materials. Such a combination is a perfect solution for either monitoring and estate security, recording night time tactical operations, or wildlife observation in nocturnal conditions.
Simple, yet stable construction of the adapter allows to securely attacj most of the Armasight night vision devices with 35 mm SLR and 8 mm cameras.

Comment : with not much experience in using such gear I was a bit apprehensive whether I would be able to operate it. Should not have worriued, it's super easy to attach as the mounting is simple, intuitive. So all you people out there, no need to be afraid of this technology :)

Comment : I wasn't aware that I can use my night vision device like that. I bought this adapter and now even my wife stopped complaining that I buy too much useless equioment as now she makes use of it and takes marvellous photographs at night.
