The Uniden 3600XLT digital radio scanner is an updated version of the popular Uniden 3500XLT. model. A wide range of supported bands 25-512 MHz, 809-960 MHz, 1240-1300 MHz enables monitoring both amateur radio and aviation frequency bands, as well as the frequencies used by the police and other intervention and rescue units. The scanner coverage depends on the current conditions (building density, weather conditions and the work of other scanners) in the surrounding, and it varies from a few hundred meters to several kilometers.

Frequency monitoring is very quick, i.e. 250 channels/second, thus a much shorter time is required to find the right band. Moreover, an operator can set 100 mostly found frequencies and 10 nonstandard band ranges as well as he can assign 7 different colour alerts to them. It is also possible to set 9 different sound tones in 15 volume levels for the saved radio frequencies. Data from scanners are stored on the supplied memory card. Maximum supported capacity is 32 GB.

One of the most useful functions of the Uniden 3600XLT digital radio scanner is the Close Call which captures the strongest sound signals within the device coverage. Additional option of connecting the scanner to the sound recorder via the audio jack, enables recording of transmissions. The scanner is equipped with a GPS module which allows to set the search range for the particular area.

Application of the CTCSS technology system(Continuous Tone-Coded Squelch System) allowed to increase security and communication comfort between two operators using the same channel in the receivers, greatly minimizing the number of interferences. Additional DCS system (Digital Code Squelch) applies the digital squelch emitting a few tones in place of one, codec with a number, and if the tones comply with the programmed code the loudspeaker is activated.

The Uniden 3600XLT digital radio scanner has been made of durable materials and has a well-thought-out ergonomic design. The receiver is powered by 3 AA rechargeable batteries which can be charged directly in the device, which is extremely helpful in particular in the fieldwork.

The Uniden UBC-3500XLT digital radio scanner is a perfect solution for those who treat radio listening as a hobby who like radio transmission communication, as well as those who are looking for a reliable solution for receiving wiretap signals.
