The Dräger X-am external pump is compatible with portable gas detectors. It probes air from restricted areas such as shafts, ducts and tanks. The result is consistent with the detector's measurements. Thus, it guarantees a high level of safety in the hazardous area.
The automatic pump for Dräger X-am portable detectors takes gas samples from a distance of 45 meters. It reaches hard-to-reach places, from where it sucks in air through a 3 mm diameter hose. It is distinguished by its short response time. It accurately tests the concentration of gases, and the result obtained is consistent with the data collected by the detector itself.
The Dräger X-am pump meets the requirements for use in an EX 0 hazardous area. It switches on spontaneously when connected to the gas detector. It does not affect its measurement performance.
The built-in data logger records information such as pump run time, battery charge status and failure warnings. Messages related to these, as well as measurement results, are displayed on the Dräger X-am detector's screen.
The pump weighs just 200 g, making it much easier to transport and store. It is completely resistant to dust ingress and immersion in water to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes (IP67 rating).
The rechargeable battery has been protected from damage caused by falls or impacts. It allows the device to operate continuously for 20 hours (an average of 3 weeks of operation when taking 8 measurements a day).
Among other things, the pump is dedicated to the Drager X-am 2500 detector.
