    up to 4 hours

Thanks to the technology developed by Implant Sciences the device is able to detect a big number of explosives and drugs of abuse at the same time. Within seconds the results are displayed on a readable screen or presented as a printout from an external or network printer, or from an integrated thermal printer.

Big high resolution touchscreen makes QS-B220 detector offer an over 40% larger display area than the similar devices. All functionalities are accessible at the screen interface level, however the control buttons offer a typical operator only the functions necessary to work.Only authorized users are granted access to the spectrogram analysis, administration and diagnostic tools.

Substances detectable by QS-B220 detector

  • Drugs detection

    Psychotropic substances

Psychoactive substances - drugs of abuse: cocaine, heroin, ketamine, L-amfetamine, LSD, MDS, MDMA, metamfetamine, morifne, PCP, Spice, THC and others.

  • Explosives detection

Military, commercial and ad-hoc prepared explosives

Explosives: ammonium nitrate, ammonium nitrate fuel oil (ANFO), C-4, Detasheet, detonating cords, dinitrotoluene, DMNB, dynamite, EGDN, HMTD, HMX, nitroglycerine, o-MNT, p-MNT, peroxides, smokeless and black powder, PETN, RDX, semtex, tetryl, TATP, TNT, urea nitrate and others.

QS-B220 was designed with a view to facilitate detection and to reduce the clear-down time needed for regaining operability. Therefore the device offers considerably higher efficiency and lower false detection ratio. The inCal - calibration technology - patented by Implant Sciences requires neither additional consumables nor extra activities from an operator.

The costs of consumables for QS-B220 are exceptionally low. Standard maintenance routine is fully automated and activated with a single button at the menu level displayed on the screen. The long-term lasting dopants and calibrating substances remain active in many years without any need of exchange. The device requires only maintenance and cleaning with the most popular and cheap cleaners, and exchange of a desiccants if need arises.

No licensing!
QS -B220 detector doesn't use any radioactive substances and thus needs no certifications, licenses, authorized overhauls or special and embarrassing utilization procedures.
