Durable construction

The EOTech EXPS 3-0 holographic sight for short distances is made of metal alloy providing it with extraordinary protection against any type of mechanical damage. In order to maximize protection, an unconventional method of an additional layer of metal was used, which was "applied" to the sight, leaving a small gap of 7mm. This allows the rifle sight to survive falls even from great heights. It also reduces the impact energy that would normally go directly to the critical parts of the rifle sight. The rugged design features are topped off with waterproofing to a depth of 10m.

Power Module

Unlike most cheaper rifle scopes, the EOTech HWS EXPS 3 has the power module located on the side of the scope. In this way, errors of previous generations have been corrected, in which under the influence of the recoil of the weapon, the battery directed upwards could temporarily turn off the device and with each subsequent shot, damage the power system. Because the EXPS 3-0 holographic sight is the pinnacle of weapon optics, this type of situation will not happen again.

HWS EXPS 3-0 has 20 levels of aiming point brightness.Pressing the "NV" button switches the rifle scope to night vision mode for generations I - III+. In this mode, the rifle scope has 10 additional brightness levels.
