Connected via USB input, the one- and two-dimensional barcode reader allows scanning of the subject's documents. An electronic touch panel with a stylus, in turn, makes it possible to confirm the results with a signature.

The Intoxylizer 9000 breathalyzer also includes a set of mouthpieces dedicated to it. It is possible to store them in a special compartment inside the device, allowing you to take the appropriate number of them with you.
The device's built-in battery allows it to be used for two hours without a constant power source. This allows the breathalyzer to be used in the field, such as during routine roadside checks by police patrols.
