The I/O communication bridge is a device that enables secure and reliable communication between the Reconeyez outdoor security system and the central monitoring and control system. It ensures stable operation, regardless of network infrastructure and power availability.

A key element of the remote external security system

The I/O communication bridge, part of the Reconeyez advanced external protection system combines three communication modules: a short-range radio, a long-range 4G radio and an internal backup battery. Thus, it is capable of operating under almost any operational conditions.

The device is an essential component of the full Reconeyez infrastructure. It enhances its performance as a remote monitoring system. It guarantees fast data flow and automation of many processes.

Efficient communication with multiple devices up to 500 m

The instrument is equipped with a short-range radio at 2.4 GHz. It enables fast, two-way data transmission. In addition, it operates on a small bandwidth and is energy-efficient, based on the IEEE 802.11.4 standard. The maximum communication range is up to 500 m.

Mesh technology, in turn, makes it possible to connect to several devices simultaneously.

Multifunctional long-range radio module

The stability and speed of the connection is enhanced by the long-range 4G radio module. Among other things, it allows communication with the cloud from anywhere in the world. It is also possible to connect to other networks, such as 3G and 2G. This makes the I/O Communication Bridge ideal for a wide range of operating conditions.

In addition, the module greatly enhances the use of the entire system by enabling the immediate receipt of notifications, configuration of equipment and response to threats.

Relay outputs and contact inputs

The device is equipped with 5 relay outputs for controlling external devices and 3 contact inputs, which are used, among other things, for operating connected detectors. These elements make the I/O communication bridge extremely xversatile and flexible, allowing it to be used in a variety of environments.

Emergency power supply in case of power failure

The equipment is highly resistant to damage, splashing and extreme temperatures. It has an IP66 protection rating. The unit is powered from an external 12V DC source (battery, adapter, PoE splitter), but can be backed up by a backup battery as an emergency. Its function is performed by a 10.2 Ah Li-Ion battery.
