FLIR C2 is the world’s first pocket-sized thermal imaging camera that resembles a modern smartphone of a very masculine design. Its full functionality made this device popular mainly in the construction and installation industries.

FLIR C2 has over 4500 measurement points which allow for quick and precise inspection of a room for any anomalies of thermal installation, water installation, defects in the roof insulation, thermal bridgesand etc., in the measurement range from -10°C to +150°C with a maximum error up to ±2°C. The compact size of the thermal imaging camera enables you to keep it in your shirt pocket or a workwear pocket, so the device is always at hand. There is a special opening in the corner of the camera to enable attaching a lanyard to the device so that to additionally secure it from falling out of the pocket.

FLIR C2 is the world’s first such a compact thermal imaging camera to fit into any pocket. The casing of the thermal imaging camera has been made with a great precision and features a well-thought-out functionality. A great advantage of the device is a real-time presentation of the image in the MSX mode, which enhances the contrast of the observed object showing sharper edges of the object and providing a clearer image.

The thermal imaging camera is controlled via 3" LCD touchscreen, and the automatic image orientation highly increases the operation comfort as there is no need to constantly turn the device. The thermal imaging camera lens viewing angle of 40° provides a wide observation frame. At the back, next to the lens, there is lamp which enables to light the room and all dark recesses.

Images are generated in the resolution of 640×480 pixels, in one of the available colour palettes (black-and-white, rainbow, iron, high contrast rainbow) and the footage is saved in the built-in memory capable of storing up to 500 images. Creating a detailed documentation is an indispensable aspect of the thermal imaging branch, so there has been a FLIR Tool software developed for footage management, which can be used to copy images, create reports and make comparisons.

The FLIR C2 thermal imaging camera is an essential tool for every building inspector or an installer. Pocket size, masculine design and ergonomics of this device make it pleasant and user-friendly while working - in all conditions.
