The Secu Scan AT1800 hazardous liquid detector is a portable scanner that can be used with one hand. It allows you to instantly assess the chemical composition of liquids sealed in a container, bottle or can, for example.

The device is based on GPR (ground-penetrating radar) technology, based on the emission of electromagnetic waves. The use of this technique is a guarantee of the most accurate measurements - the risk of a false reading is minimal.

The Secu Scan AT1800 hazardous liquid detector is capable of distinguishing nearly 50 different types of harmful liquids. These include gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, sulfuric acid and potassium hydroxide.

Reading result after a second

The device works most effectively when the liquid is placed in a non-metallic container.

A sample of at least 50 ml should be placed in a vessel of one of the materials:

• iron,
• aluminum,
• plastic,
• glass,
• porcelain,
• ceramics.

When the above materials are used, it takes just one second to read the substance. The device also copes with identification from a metal container. However, then the measurement takes much longer, and the result may be distorted.

Detection of a hazardous substance is alerted by a long beep and a flashing red LED light. If the sample turns out to be clean, the color of the LED will change to green and the sound will be short.

Internal memory recording

Test results are automatically stored in the device's internal memory. The AT1800 also has a built-in USB port that can be used to charge the detector and transfer data to external media.
