The hidden listening device is designed in such a way that sounds transmitted by its means are characterised by high purity. A sensitive microphone picks up sounds from the surroundings at the same time minimising the level of noise (the automatic gain control function and broadband WFM modulation).
The signal transmission is conducted by means of a quartz transmitter which uses the permanent transmission in the band of 410-420 MHz which is not supported by popular radio receivers. Thanks to such a solution, the possibility to detect sound transmission easily is minimised. The signal is transmitted to the distance depending on the density of buildings - in the open area - about 500 m and in a built-up area 200-300 m.
The device operation range at the optimal conditions is several kilometres. Uniden scanner UBC72XLT is the equipment recommended to all hobbyists, but also people using similar devices in their work. Small, affordable and reliable.
The scanner works with a 25-125 MHz range frequencies and allows to scan with a speed of 50 channels per second. The handheld radio scanner is perfectly constructed tool for scanning and receiving radio signals.

Comment : good quality of sound. It works in unsusual band so it is harder to detect it
