The 8×30 ornithological binoculars from the YF series by Kowa are characterized by 100% waterproofing and perfection in workmanship. In addition, the binoculars are equipped with a powerful Repeliing lens system for a perfect image.
Kowa YF binoculars from Japanese manufacturer Kowa re a balance of perfectly designed glass systems, ergonomics and design. All optical elements of the YF series are manufactured from Japanese eco-glass and the surfaces are multi-coated. These coatings provide high light transmission, redefining color, brightness and contrast as seen through binocular lenses.
The Kowa YF series of binoculars utilize a Porro prism system, thus providing a wide field of view in a small glass size. In addition, the KR-coated (Kowa Repelling) optics used provide excellent reproduction of the actual image.
Instead of upgrading the design, which is perfect for the YF series, functionality has been improved. The central focusing knob has been enlarged so that you can quickly adjust the focus without looking away.
The manufacturer has focused on the ergonomics and design of ornithological binoculars. The binoculars have been covered with a rubber coating with a grained structure in places, which is a balance between comfort and grip. In addition, the binoculars have soft contours that ensure the binoculars sit firmly in your hand, even during long observations.

The Kowa YF series are fully waterproof, making them ideal for outdoor observation in extreme weather conditions. The seals used prevent dust and water from penetrating the body.
