ST131/ST131N PIRANHA II are complete multifunctional sets for the detection and location of various types of technical wiretapping devices. They enable the detection of radio transmitters using various types of analog and digital transmission, devices installed on the wiring in the building — e.g. microphones transmitting signals through an electrical or IT network, microwave transmitters, infrared transmitters and active working electronic devices, e.g. voice recorders or video recorders

The St-131N Piranha II multifunctional detector is designed for detection, location of listening devices and identification of natural and false sources of information leakage. In addition, the ST-131N allows the detection of nonlinear junctions in wired lines.

The main types of detected bugging devices:

  • radio microphones, including devices with mass storage and subsequent information transfer (pulse transmitter) and frequency spread spectrum (FHSS)
  • radio stethoscopes
  • wireless cameras
  • cell phones and modems working in CDMA, GSM, 3G, DECT standards used without authorization
  • devices using 4G, WLAN and BLUETOOTH digital data transmission channels
  • GPS tracker

  • detection of devices using various transmission techniques or registration of illegally obtained data

    • switch enables the analysis of individual pairs on multi-core cables
    • ST131N version is equipped with a wired nonlinear connector detector enabling testing of the presence of electronic devices on the tested section of the installation
  • the ability to detect transmitters operating in the infrared band and the visible light range
  • acoustic probe for detecting ultrasonic transducers
  • a magnetic probe allows locating of working electronic devices, e.g. voice recorders, based on the emission of a slowly changing EM field
  • measurement results are clearly presented on a color LCD display
  • algorithms of signal analysis and presentation facilitate and speed up the operator's work
  • the possibility of connecting to a PC increases the analytical potential:
    • waterfall view — observation of signal changes in the entire observed band over time
