Description
X-ray dosimeter Polimaster PM1703
The PM1703 series of personal X-ray dosimeters consists of four extremely sensitive and robust models. They are capable of detecting trace amounts of radioactive materials, as well as accurately locating their position. Use is simple and safe for health.
Effective dosimeter in four variants
Manufacturer Polimaster has created the PM1703 series with the aim of providing maximum performance while maintaining ease of use. All this in an affordable price category.
Four variants of personal X-ray dosimeters are available:
- PM1703GNA-II/BT - high-sensitivity scintillator for individual dose strength measurement up to 300 µSv/h,
- PM1703GNA-II MBT - up to 200 µSv/h,
- PM1703MO-II BT - up to 200 mSv/h,
- PM1703MA-II/BT - up to 300 µSv/h.
Thanks to these parameters, the models guarantee high precision and a very low probability of misreading. The accuracy of the dose measurement is ± 30%.
Gamma radiation
Models in the PM1703 family use gamma radiation only. In addition, some are equipped with Geiger-Müller counters to indicate the scale of the impact.
The devices ensure personal safety by continuously monitoring the measured dose and alerting the user with visual, audible and vibration alarms when preset radiation thresholds are exceeded.
USB and Bluetooth connectivity
Each Polimaster PM1703 personal X-ray dosimeter offers communication via USB and Bluetooth. This makes it possible to connect to a smartphone for advanced operations.
This type of handling is facilitated by the free Polismart® mobile app, available for Android and iOS.
Facilitating the 0-9 operating mode
The PM1703 series models have a 0-9 scale mode, which allows comprehensive monitoring of gamma dose power over a numerical range. It puts your work in order, which is a great convenience, especially for beginners and less experienced users.
A history of the last 2,000 tests
The internal memory of the devices allows the history of the last 2,000 measurements to be stored. This makes it possible to revisit the most important checks at any time. What's more, the data is protected even when the batteries are removed.
The most important information can be transferred to external media (e.g. a desktop or laptop computer) via a USB cable.
NORM suppression algorithm
The PM1703 personal X-ray dosimeters stand out from the competition thanks to the NORM suppression algorithm. It distinguishes between alarm signals in the event of an increase in natural gamma background values and the detection of naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORM).
Successful detection is indicated by a green indicator light. However, if other types of radionuclides (e.g. IND, NUC, MED, etc.) are detected, there is an audible alarm and the LED flashes red. This function provides clear and distinct indications based on the specific type of radiation detected.
Operating time up to 1000 h
The PM1703 is powered by a single AA alkaline battery or a special rechargeable battery. Depending on the selected variant, the operating time is between 800 and 1000 h.
Convenient and efficient operation
The devices are equipped with clips for convenient operation, even for beginners.
The PM1703 models are proving themselves as radiation pagers for public safety agencies, including border control, rescue teams, police and counter-terrorism units that need to quickly and effectively detect radioactive materials in public places.
