The Keen Ranger PT photo trap is designed for hunters, foresters and outdoor enthusiasts who are fascinated by observing wild animals in their natural habitat. Its advanced algorithms distinguish between human and animal activity and other background movement (such as falling leaves). They trigger a shutter, send a push notification or email with a photo of the event, and you can turn on the live broadcast at any time.

Two-way communication and night recording

Just watching animals is not enough for you? The Keen Ranger PT forest camera is equipped with a speaker for listening to your surroundings and a microphone for conversations. Its range of possibilities is also enhanced by infrared LEDs that effectively illuminate an area of up to 10 m. Importantly, the infrared light emitted is invisible to animals, so it does not frighten them or give away the operation of the photo trap.

Perfect camouflage

The Keen Ranger PT, like other Reolink, cameras, operates over a wide temperature range from -10°C to +55°C. Its rugged housing is IP64-rated for water resistance, effectively protecting the electronics from the weather. The moro colour camouflages it in the forest, against a background of trees or in the foliage. The photo trap blends in perfectly with its surroundings, is unobtrusive and thus less likely to be attacked by vandals or stolen.

Continuous operation

Although photocouplers generally offer a long operating time, in this case you do not have to worry about the battery status at all. The included solar panel effectively powers the device with solar energy. The Keen Ranger PT runs continuously and you are assured of not missing anything.
