Police breath tester iBlow with electrochemical sensor is a high-tech breathalyser with electrochemical sensor intended for the non-contact police use. The electrochemical sensor based on the FastScan 4.0 technology is a truly revolutionary solution which allowed to create such a professional the police breath tester. What distinguishes the FastScan 4.0 from other competing sensors is its platinum coating and the increased measuring surface that makes it possible to take a rapid measurement in just 4 seconds. This is extremely useful when taking measurements during mass events.
The police breath tester features an additional function – passive mode operation, which enables testing of vapours from all kinds of containers with liquids, brought to the mass event or to a work place, as well as testing of people who are unwilling or unable to cooperate during the testing.
At the top of the police breath tester, right under the measurement opening, there is a lamp indicator installed, which changes its colour depending on the test result. This lamp indicator can also serve as a signal when stopping drivers. The test result is shown on a small LCD screen at the front of this non-contact police breathalyser.
The handle of the device has been covered with a ribbed rubber coating providing a more firm grip and preventing it from slipping out of a hand, which happens notoriously to the devices with plastic handles. The device can be powered by 4 or 6 batteries AA, depending on the desired operation time and weight of the breathalyser. The casing has built-in magnets so it’s possible to fix the police breath tester to metal surfaces.

Owing to its possibility to carry out numerous non-contact measurements this device is perfect for use in companies where sobriety of employees is strictly observed.
The granted covers 2 years for electronics and 1 year for the sensor. To be able to use the warranty please strictly follow the manufacturer’s instructions concerning calibration of the breathalyser, which should be done not less than once a year or at each 1000 measurement in case of intensive use.
