Signal isolation across a wide frequency range

The PDA Electronics ECM712 portable Faraday cage for forensic analysis effectively blocks all major 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G and Wi-Fi frequencies, ensuring complete security when analysing mobile devices. It supports bandwidths ranging from 700 MHz to 5.35 GHz, including the key LTE, UMTS, GSM frequencies and 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi channels. This versatility allows it to work in a variety of network environments, eliminating the risk of external interference.

Precisely adjustable transmission power

The device offers three levels of transmission power: low (10 mW), medium (100 mW) and maximum (1000 mW). These settings can be adjusted using intuitive software, enabling effective work in both laboratories and open spaces. Thanks to the adjustable power, it is possible to adjust the signal isolation radius - from 1 to 5 metres, which allows for optimal adjustment to the working conditions.

Advanced near-field antenna (NFA)

The ECM712 is equipped with a specialised near-field antenna that generates a uniform, non-polarised isolation field. This creates a virtual hemispherical Faraday chamber, effectively isolating the analysed device from external signals. This technology allows for precise analysis of phones and tablets without interfering with other devices in the vicinity.

Low energy consumption and mobility

The device is powered by an external 12 VDC power supply. Its compact dimensions (160 x 185 x 52 mm for the signal generator) and low weight (1046 g) make the device easy to transport and use anywhere – both in the field and in the laboratory.
