UltraSonic RF Ultrasonic Jammer is a professional system of ultrasonic jammers which disables listening-in via microphones integrated into mobile devices such as mobile phones, GSM wiretaps, voice recorders, radio bugs and many other. Small size, long operation time

UltraSonic RF Jammer is a series of dual-band ultrasonic portable jammers for surveillance devices. The system are capable of jamming microphones e.g. in mobile phones, voice recorders, radio bugs, wire microphones and stethoscope wiretaps thanks to generating a strong noise in the ultrasonic range that influence microphones and pre-amplifiers causing interference noises in the sound recorded, so that it becomes impossible to obtain any information from the recording or a wiretap.

UltraSonic RF jammers have two operation modes: ULTRANOISE and ULTRASOUND, which have different algorithms for generating ultrasonic noise. Signal carrier in the ultrasonic range is modulated by the noise signal in the audible range. The modulated signal picked up by the microphone is converted into loud noise which mask all other sounds e.g. speech. UltraSonic system offers jamming on two ultrasound bands (18 and 25 kHz) which significantly increases the number of devices that can be jammed. UltraSonic devices can be used in a wide range of temperatures down from -20°C and up to +50°C with the humidity of 95%. The RF jammer has a built-in protection against short-circuits and inappropriate supply voltage. The fundamental difference between the ULTRANOISE and ULTRASOUND modes is the level of ultrasonic carrier modulation:

  • ULTRANOISE – high level of modulation, allows maximum attenuation of other sounds howeverthe signal generated by the jammer is audible to humans (the sound like humming of disconnected loudspeakers),
  • ULTRASOUND - lower level of modulation makes the sound almost inaudible to humans, however the effective distance decreases by 1.3-1.5 times.

  • The RF jammer is easy to operate
  • It is recommended to set the loudspeaker in the direction of the probable position of the wiretap. The best is to put the jammer under the table top, close to the anticipated surveillance device,
  • Simply plug the adapter in at the back of the housing and activate the generator with the red button. Use the green button next to the power button to change between the ULTRANOISE and ULTRASOUND modes,
  • power output of the jammer can be adjusted with a switch on the power adapter - the power supply can be reduced from the default 12V to 9 V or 7.5 V; this will reduce the power output making the jammer less audible, although it will also reduce its effective coverage.

When using ultrasonic technology for jamming microphones, one should always be aware of the limitations arising from the physical laws - jamming effectiveness always depends on the distance and the type of the microphone, as not all microphones are equally susceptible to jamming signals in the ultrasonic range. Signals in this band bounce off from the surface, but they can not pass through most materials on a large depth, it is therefore recommended to use appropriately positioned multiple loudspeakers.

For example, a conference room with a table for 8 people should be jammed by 8 high power PRO + devices placed under the table and by desktop loudspeakers in front of each participant in the conversation. In addition, to obtain a better level of protection, it is a good practice to add to a system of loudspeakers which emit noise in the acoustic band - Chorus device.

Important!
Jamming effectiveness depends on the device - design of some microphones is more susceptible to jamming than of others. Depending on that, the maximum effective operation range of the device can vary by several times. Remember that the range in the silent ULTRASOUND mode decreases by about 1.3-1.5 times compared to the ULTRANOISE mode which is more audible to humans.

The systems does not guarantee 100% of jamming effectiveness, but still they surpass the competing technologies due to a large jamming coverage and the number of the jammed devices - voice recorders, wiretaps and stethoscope wiretaps, microphones built-in Pc’s, headsets, cameras and all kinds of smartphones (e.g. iPhone) as well as in mobile phones.

A gift
As part of a promotion, each jammer of PRO+ series comes with the Chorus acoustic jammer. The device generates sound consisting of male and female voices speaking different languages, so the generated signal effectively masks other sounds. User can adjust the volume as well as bass and treble. The loudspeaker is 27 × 16 × 14 cm large and is equipped with two converters with a total power of 18W.
