The S-200 "ARCANE" is designed to remotely detect and locate hidden video cameras that are installed outdoors and indoors. ARCANE can detect both analog and digital cameras, regardless of concealment and video transmission methods.

The S-200 "ARCANE" is the successor to the SEL SP-102 detecting both regular wired and wireless cameras as well as cameras that store data in an internal memory bank, giving it an obvious advantage over other camera detection devices such as optical or NLJD detectors. ARCANE does not require the operator to thoroughly and slowly search the entire premises or person, but only needs a few seconds to determine if there are cameras that can then be easily located.
The principle of the S-200 "ARCANE" is to detect and analyze specific parts of the electromagnetic spectrum to find "stray" emissions (unwanted signals) that is unique to the electronic circuitry of the video camera. Once detected, such signals are evaluated and correlated to a spectral database of "images" stored in memory.
Safe signals - white list
The device allows you to add "familiar" signals to the so-called "white list". Creating this list significantly speeds up the device operation. Please note that the list is automatically deleted when the detector is switched off unless it is saved permanently in the memory.
To make it easier to find and detect hidden video cameras, the kit includes an accessory that detects objective lens. Simply point the tool at a suspicious location, turn on the backlight which will generate a reflection in the lens revealing a bright dot indicating the location of the lens.
The advantage of the camera detector is its lightning fast operation, the device takes just 3 seconds to determine if any active cameras have been hidden in a room. Operation of the camera detector is not particularly demanding. Each detected signal is located in a separate cell. The operator has a total of 75 cells available. The color system allows a quick check of potentially dangerous signal sources. In addition to information about the signals, the touch screen displays battery status and date.
SEL SP-102 is another great proposal from Selcom, which is designed to quickly detect a hidden camera in just 3 seconds and locate the source of danger.
