Strix is a night vision thermal scope which is one of the smallest and one of the most light-weight thermal imaging devices produced by Electrooptic - the company which over 20 years has been developing and manufacturing advanced tactical equipment. Uncooled ASI FPA micro-bolometric sensor refreshes image at 50 Hz which ensures clear and full motion image.

Strix monocular, as all other thermal imaging devices, operates in the IR light band which is completely invisible for the human eye, therefore it enables fully secret observation.

Optical system and zoom

The optical system applied in the night vision thermal scope provides clear and sharp image. The device has permanent 2× or 4× zoom depending on the model. The thermal imaging device is able to detect objects from the distance of 1100 m as a maximum.

For the safety of optical components, the producer implemented lens protection against big shocks caused by recoil when shooting.
Sturdy design

The night vision thermal scope is made of hard metal alloy with rubber finishing to protect the inside components of the device.
Day and night mode

You can change the operation mode of the night vision device to night observation or day observation mode. This function also protects from too intense lighting which could damage converter.
High power efficiency

Thermal imaging device is powered by removable AA batteries which allow for up to 10 h of continuous operation in the optimal ambient temperature.
