R&S FPL1000 spectrum analyser
R&S FPL1000 is a series of spectrum and RF signal analysers that is the only one of its kind on the market to have a built-in signal generator up to 7.5 GHz. Four equipment variants are available, offering an operating range from 5 kHz to 26.5 GHz. The model weighs just 6 kg, making it very convenient to transport and use.
Wide operating frequency spectrum
The R&S FPL1000 spectrum analyser series consists of four models with different frequency ranges:
- R&S FPL1003 (5 kHz – 3 GHz).
- R&S FPL1007 (5 kHz – 7,5 GHz).
- R&S FPL1014 (5 kHz - 14 GHz).
- R&S FPL1026 (5 kHz - 26,5 GHz).
The wide spectrum allows the equipment to be used in a variety of conditions, guaranteeing comprehensive analysis of both weak and strong signals. The solutions from the R&S FPL1000 series can be used, among other things, for testing wireless communications, mobile and telecommunications devices or as an aid to eavesdropping detection.
High sensitivity and low phase noise
The analyser from Rohde & Schwarz features very high sensitivity below -163 dBm/Hz (with preamplifier). An additional advantage is the low phase noise of less than - 108 dBc (1 Hz) at 10 kHz offset from a 1 GHz carrier.
The combination of these features makes the R&S FPL1000 models equipment capable of detection and precise analysis of even the weakest signals. In this way, the user will detect abnormalities in communications that they would not be able to verify with classic analysers.
Built-in signal generator
The R&S FPL1000 spectrum analyser is the only device among similar models in the same class to have a built-in signal generator at 7.5 GHz. It allows the user to easily perform fast, but above all accurate frequency response measurements.
Intuitive operation via touchscreen
The operation of the R&S FPL1000 from Rohde & Schwarz is very intuitive, making the instrument fit for the hands of both the professional and the novice user. The touch screen operates as that of a smartphone.
The display allows the operator to take measurements with gestures. This translates into improved comfort and productivity. In addition, it is possible to configure the equipment and adapt its operation to the prevailing conditions from the screen itself.
Convenience of use
The R&S FPL1000 spectrum analyser is a device that can be used in both laboratory and field conditions. This is due to its compact dimensions and weight of just 6 kg. In addition, the model can be equipped with an optional rechargeable battery, providing up to three hours of operation without recharging.
The operator's comfort and convenience when carrying the unit is ensured by a dedicated bag equipped with a shoulder harness.
