Professional photocamera for day and night image capture

The Reconyx UltraFire XS8 is equipped with two lenses - one for detailed observation in daylight and another for effective monitoring after dark, without the need for a mechanical infrared filter. The image is illuminated by the latest generation of night vision illuminators, making the image clear and legible.

Recording on a scheduled basis

Depending on your needs, the Reconyx UltraFire XS8 photo trap can perform round-the-clock surveillance or activate at specific times of the day/selected days of the week. It applies time, date, temperature and even moon phase information to the image. This function will be appreciated by hunters and wildlife watchers, for example, when they want to check which animals are inactive during a full moon.

Proprietary dynamic video function

Reconyx UltraFire series cameras are distinguished by their dynamic video function. They activate within 1 second after detecting motion and pause recording after 3 seconds of no activity within the lens range. If they don't detect any action for another 27 seconds, they stop working and enter standby mode again. In this way they save time, memory and the device's battery.

High performance

The Reconyx UltraFire XS8 records videos in 1080P resolution at 30 frames per second. The 24-bit stereo sound is digitally amplified and cleaned of wind noise. Files are saved to an SD or SDHC memory card. Thanks to the loop recording function, the oldest images are overwritten with new ones and the photopic camera runs continuously. You can view the collected files directly on the camera or by connecting it to a TV/computer - as the device has a micro HDMI and USB input.
