The nature of the sample and the type of substance to be detected can affect the occurrence of a color change: it can occur on the strip, the swab or both. So observe both the swab and the test area. The purity of the collected sample determines the intensity of the colors that occur. Verify the results using the included calibration chart or instructions.

Receiving an abnormal test result can be caused by failure to follow test procedures, expired product or leaking packaging, abnormal conditions under which the test was conducted (wind, smoke, rain, extreme temperatures), use of sticky or thick samples (e.g., candle wax, silicone oil, technical grease, etc.) or those with a high color similar to the colors present (dyes, tea leaves). If the test result turns out to be incorrect, contact your local distributor.
