Technical endoscope - Optec VEPsA IR/UV - for inspection of welded surfaces

The VEPsA UV/IR Optec technical endoscope has interchangeable probes with a camera diameter of 2 to 6 mm and 4- and 2-way articulation. UV/IR light is dedicated to the examination of non-destructive, narrow-gap surfaces and welded joints. The illumination allows penetration into the darkest corners.

The VEPsA UV/IR Optec endoscopic camera has a flexible probe with 2- and 4-way articulation, i.e. the probe head bends in two or four directions. Illumination of the penetrated area is possible with UV or IR light (depending on the version). Convenient "under the thumb" levers located in the central part have been created to control the probe. The endoscope is available with interchangeable probes with diameters of 2; 2.8; 4 and 6 mm, giving an unlimited range of possibilities for use of the device in both the automotive, industrial and aerospace sectors.

  The great advantage of the VEPsA IR/UV technical endoscope is the ability to take real-time images (jpeg) and videos (avi).

  Power is supplied from a built-in rechargeable battery that allows for approximately 2 - 3 h of continuous operation.

  UV and IR illumination

  There are LEDs in the probe head which provide sufficient illumination of the penetrated space. In addition, it is possible to use UV or IR light for non-destructive inspection.

  Protection against moisture

  The endoscope probe is made with an IP67 protection classification. The main unit is not resistant to moisture and dust.
