Advanced thermal imaging sensor for precise detection

The OPTIX DIANA IR thermal imaging sight is equipped with an advanced sensor with a resolution of 640x480 p, which guarantees exceptional image quality in any situation. With a thermal sensitivity of < 50 mK and a wide detection spectrum (7-14 μm), the device performs well in storm, fog, smoke and total darkness.

Mounted on helmet, weapon or handheld use

The OPTIX DIANA IR thermal imaging monocular offers exceptional flexibility in its applications. It can be used as a handheld detector as well as a monocular mounted on a helmet or weapon via a Picatinny mechanism (MIL-STD-1913). This versatility allows the device to be adapted to a wide variety of missions, from tactical military operations to rescue operations.

Exceptional range and recognition performance

The device provides impressive detection and recognition ranges: a human being can be detected from a distance of approximately 970 m and a vehicle from approximately 2,300 m. Target identification is equally precise, with values of 320 m and 780 m respectively.

The unit features an OLED display with a resolution of 800x600 p, offering a clear image regardless of the conditions. Selectable image polarity (white hot/black hot) and digital zoom (x2, x4) give the user complete control. The Diana IR models differ in lens focal length, which affects their application. The Diana IR 25 (25 mm) is a compact model ideal for shorter distances. The Diana IR 35 (35 mm) offers a great balance of range and versatility, and the Diana IR 50 (50 mm) provides maximum detection range and precision over long distances.
