    The FLIR brand is an expert in constructing modern thermal imaging systems. The Prometheus thermal imaging monocular features a built-in Tau 2 Vox non-refigerated microbolometer sensor.

    Precise and clear image

    Unlike night vision techniques, thermal imaging allows to operate regardless of external conditions and bases on capturing electromagnetic radiation waves. Every object produces waves, analysis of which allows to determine the temperature distribution in the surrounding area – which then becomes a subject of imaging. The preview is very precise as for fragments' separation, even when the differences in temperature are very small.

    The thermal imaging monocular does not require light (unlike night vision devices) and can operate freely regardless of the weather conditions. The monocular is effective both in combat conditions and during long range field observation.

    Prometheus is resistant to rain, snow, thick fog, dust and smoke. It provides a precise thermovision image both during the day and a cloudy night. The thermal imaging monocular is invisible to the outsiders.
