RD1003 is an outdoor wide angle trail camera for area monitoring. The applied IR illuminator enables the trail camera to carry out observation both during the daytime and at night. The device is intended for open recording as the IR filter emits red glow during operation.

The wide angle trail camera has a colour LCD screen which enables configuration of the device and also makes it possible to preview the footage directly on the screen with no need to eject the memory card. The device is able to support memory card with the maximum capacity of 32 GB. Images taken during monitoring of the area can be saved as photos, video recordings or both. Additionally, the footage can be labelled with the date, time and moon phases.

To power the camera you need 4 battery AA, however we recommend using 8 batteries in order to fully use all camera capabilities and obtain the maximum operation time. The train camera is energy-efficient and it take as little as 0.2 mA in the sleep mode, which can prolong its operation time even up to a few months. Motion detection function can additionally increase the lifetime of the batteries and save time while the footage preview.
