The Nikon Prostaff P3 rifle scope has been designed mainly to work with carbines of 22LR caliber and air weapons. An important advantage is the flash focusing at shorter distances with the use of the adjustment in the lens, which enables parallax correction above 10 m. In addition, it is possible to correct the crosshair threads with MOA steps using the spring-loaded backlash correction knobs.

Excellent accuracy

What you can feel immediately after mounting the Nikon PROSTAFF P3 scope on your rifle is the precision of shots. The adjustable magnification of 3-9× will work well at short and medium distances, and the top and side turrets provide even more precise aiming, where 1 click equals ¼ MOA. The basic Nikon PROSTAFF P3 NP scope is equipped with a standard, very intuitive crosshair. The BDC version, on the other hand, enriches the reticle (or, to be more precise, the lower part of the vertical line) with 4 BDC (Bullet Drop Compensator) points, making it easier to make accurate calculations when the bullet drops at longer distances.

Reliable construction

The aircraft-grade aluminum housing performs well in tough forest conditions, unaffected by sharp branches or even a fall from a great height. The inside of the scope is filled with nitrogen gas. Its application prevents fogging of the glass even in the most unfavorable conditions. Nikon PROSTAFF P3 spotting scope has one more advantage, which is a special coating of the optical system. This makes it possible to reduce all kinds of reflections making it difficult to use a spotting scope, at the same time increasing sharpness and brightness of the image.
