A night vision device requires minimal amount of light (e.g. coming from the moon, stars or an artificial source) to work which can be amplified by the gain circuit in the device. Thanks to using the >PRG Defense Sioux 850 long range infrared illuminator it is possible to work without even fragmentary lighting.

PRG Defense Sious 850 long-range infrared illuminator is an XLR-850, successor in which energy saving and illumination range have been improved. It is worth remembering that the 850nm long f waves emit a subtle glow.

The applied optics guarantees very high efficiency. Thanks to the possibility to adjust the beam's angle within the range of 4 to 35°, the user can adjust the illuminator's features to his/her own needs. PRG Defense Sioux 850 model is powered by the Li-Ion type 18650 rechargeable battery which ensures operation for 3,5h.
