The very sensitive and high class microphone grants the high quality of the sound recorded even from a distance of 15 m (it depends on the ambient acoustic conditions). Signal is sampled from 8 kHz to 44 kHz and then processed by a digital sound converter at 10 bit resolution . Afterwards it's recorded in the lossless format 16/8-bit PCM or in the 4-bit ADPCM compression.

The recorded material is stored in the removable micro SD memory cards of capacity up to 32 GB.The most important feature making this device exceptional amongst the similar ones is the security of recordings. All the recorded materials can be encrypted with 10-character key and without this password they are useless for any unauthorized persons.

No doubt there are other advantages like various modes of operation. The micro voice recorder can work in a continuous mode, or be triggered into operation in a sound-activated mode (it offers an adjustable triggering level and a length of recording). The micro dictaphone can also work according to the preset user-defined time schedule - amongst others - within a week schedule or calendar schedule (it allows a user to precisely determine dates and times of device's activity).

The micro voice recorder is powered from an external source (voltage may vary from 2.9V to 4.3V, DC ). Such a solution enables the device for stable and continuous operation while powered either by an accumulator or by a battery pack. Application of energy-saving technology results in as little power consumption as from 1 mA in a standby mode and to 18.6 mA while recording in the highest quality.

Settings management of the device and encrypted recordings is enabled via a PC-dedicated software. All parameters are set in an intuitive, easy way. The configuration file should be then saved on a memory card and upon rebooting the device the settings will be read from a card.
