The lightweight, waterproof analogue night vision monocular PVS-1451 is an improved variant of the GSCI model PVS-14. The new version is equipped with a larger field of view - up to 51° - which influences a much better recognition of the area.

The PVS-1451 analogue night vision monocular was developed for use by the military, police, border guards and special services. With a field of view of 51°, built-in IR illuminator and image transducer in generation 2+ and 3 (depending on the variant), the equipment is ideal for combat operations, reconnaissance or observation of a target in low visibility conditions.   Various versions to choose from

  The PVS-1451 military night vision monocular is available in more than a dozen versions with different parameter selections (including amplifier generation, image color, or the presence of an Autogating function). Details on specific configurations can be found in the "specifications" tab.

  51° field of view

  The PVS-1451 features a large 51° field of view compared to 40° in the older PVS-14C PVS-14C. In practice, this means to 75% better orientation in the field.

  AG Auto Gating

  Depending on the available version, the PVS-1451 night vision device is equipped with AG auto-gating technology. It is responsible for quickly adapting the light intensity to the conditions. This protects the user from sudden glare, e.g. from flashlight light.

  Automatic brightness adjustment

  The operator can adjust the optics through manual diopter adjustment (-6 to +2) and automatic brightness adjustment (manual on some variants).

  Lightweight design

  The lightweight design of 330g , ensures that the operator does not feel the weight on the head, helmet or during handheld use.

  Optional lenses

  The analogue night vision device can be equipped with an optional 3× or 5× lens , to further increase the observation potential.

  Up to 40 hr operation

  Powered by 1 CR123 battery (optional AA battery) for up to 40 hours of continuous use in the field. Using AA batteries will result in a shorter operating time.

  Automatic switch off

  With the SSF (Stow Safety Feature) the night vision device is very energy efficient. . The device will automatically switch off when raised on the mounting arm. When lowered onto your eyes, the night vision device will start up again.

  Weapon- or helmet-mounted

  The observation night vision device can be used as a handheld observation monocular. It can also be mounted on a head, helmet or directly on a weapon as a stand-alone sight. There is also an option to connect to a camera or camcorder.

  Waterproof design

  The night vision device's compact housing is resistant to moisture, dust, weather and mechanical damage. It can also be used at temperatures from -40°C to +50°C.

  Excellent image

  The integrated short-range infrared illuminator and the high-end image sensor in Generation 2+ and 3 (depending on the variant) guarantee an excellent image quality even in the presence of a trace of ambient light.
