Armasight CO-LR 2+ HD is a night vision clip-on system designed for mounting on optical sights and long range shooting. It is a highly specialist piece of equipment intended to use with most of high magnification night vision sights, for both military and amateur purposes.

CO-LR 2+ night vision clip-on system is suitable for optical sights with 3 to 12× magnification and enables night time shooting for distances up to 900 meters. Armasight CO-LR night vision device can be quickly mounted and dismounted on the Picatinny standard rail or with use of a special adapter, without any specialist tools.

The construction of the night vision clip-on system and mounting in front of a standard optical sight make it unnecessary to detach and recalibrate the scope, and does not change the position of the eyepiece. The operator can use it in a standard way during the day and at night as well, after installing a night vision attachment. Armasight CO-LR 2+ HD night vision device is factory-calibrated with a precision of 1 angular minute in a way that does not affect the optical parameters of the aiming system, so the accuracy of the shot is very high.

Armasight CO-LR 2+ HD construction is based on a generation 2+ high class intensifier of increased resolution, so the image from the night vision device is very clear and sharp. The intensifier uses the MCP microchannel plate technology, the stream of photons incidenting on it through the lens causes ejection of secondary electrons, so the light amplification reaches values as high as 50000. It allows to conduct observation in very hard conditions, with weak lighting, such as cloudy moonless nights. The night vision devices of this generation are widely used by professionals in the military and other uniformed services, but also by demanding hunters.
