The Android thermal camera Therm-App is a small-size device which after connecting to the Android-supported smartphone changes it into a power supply and a display for the thermal imaging camera. Power consumption is rather low - not more than 0,5 W. Image generated by the Android thermal camera and displayed on the smartphone screen features high clarity and 384×288 resolution. A great advantage is the possibility to choose the colour representation for the displayed image among 6 available palettes (warm white, warm black, colour, metallic, grey or bright). Additionally, the operator can choose either a thermal imaging, the so called warm image or night vision imaging, which enables in-field night observations.

The great advantage of the Android thermal camera for a smartphone is the ability to exchange lenses, so the operator can choose between wide-angle and telephoto lenses. Manufacturer offers 4 optional lens: 6.8 mm, which provides the eyeshot of (55°×41°), 13 mm (29°×22°), 19 mm (19°×14°) and 35 mm (11°×8°). Photos taken by the Android thermal camera are saved in the phone memory.

The device has been made from a robust and hypoallergenic plastic. The Android thermal camera design complies with the IP54 standard which guarantees its save application while small and short precipitation.

Therm-App is a small-size and inconspicuous device which after connecting it to a smartphone will use it as a power supply and a thermal imaging camera control touchscreen. It is an inexpensive solution that provides plenty of possibilities in terms of safety, in hunting, as well as in wildlife and area observations.
