Evidential breathalyzer Prodigy with passive measurement mode and built in memory

Prodigy is an evidential breathalyzer that is used by the police e.g. in Canada and Russia. The device has been equipped with a highly sensitive electrochemical sensor, 4 measurement taking modes and a Bluetooth module for connection with a thermal printer.

  Electrochemical sensor

  The core element of the evidential breathalyzer - platinum electrochemical sensor with FX processor - enables highly precise measurement within the range up to 6.300‰. Accuracy of measurement of +/- 0.005% allows to determine the breath-alcohol content or alcohol content in vapours very precisely.

  Measurement modes

  The evidential breathalyzer can operate in one of the following 4 modes:

  • automatic mode - applied for a single test,
  • evidence mode - enables connection with a printer in order to print the test confirmation,
  • passive evidence mode - applied in case when a person is either not willing or not able to cooperate,
  • fast passive mode - dedicated for multiple non-contact measurements. If the result is positive - switch to the evidence mode.

  Display

  The evidential breathalyzer has been equipped with an LCD touchscreen. The device is very easy to operate and the clickable icons are located in such a distance so as not to collide with each other.

  Signalling of result

  When the test is completed, depending on the selected mode, a message displayed on the LCD screen will inform the user whether the device detected alcohol (fast measurement mode) or its content (automatic mode) in the exhaled air.

  Bluetooth module

  The device has a built-in Bluetooth module which enables, with the use of an optional printer, to print the test results.

  Power supply and operation time

  The evidential breathalyzer is powered by 4 x AA batteries which ensure enough operation time to carry out about 500 measurements. When discharged, the batteries can be immediately exchanged.

  Internal Memory

  The built-in memory allows to store up to 10 000 measurement results and personal details of the person examined as well as the details of the person performing the test, also including exact date and time of the event.

To be able to use the free-of-charge first calibration please keep the proof of purchase of the breathalyser (receipt or an invoice) and the warranty certificate. Please contact Detective Store service after 500 measurements at the latest and not later than after a year after the purchase of the breathalyser to have calibration done totally free of charge.
