Description
Thermal surveillance camera for shop monitoring - FLIR F for shop monitoring
The FLIR F TCP/IP is a thermal surveillance camera that operates in the infrared range, which is invisible to the human eye. The source of infrared is heat – every object with a temperature above absolute zero emits IR radiation. This phenomenon can be used for imaging even in total darkness, or under dusty or hazy conditions, etc. (unlike night vision systems, which still require a minimal amount of light).
The FLIR F TCP/IP thermal imaging camera converts temperature differences into images that can be displayed on a monitor or recorded. The thermal imaging technique is prized by professionals and is ideal for security purposes (e.g.: for monitoring a store or warehouse), military applications, intelligence services and for use by special forces.
FLIR F-series stationary infrared cameras are designed for professional monitoring systems that require continuous operation, regardless of conditions, for rapid detection and analysis of threats. The Thermal surveillance camera for shop monitoring - FLIR F is a great complement to standard monitoring systems for various premises (stores, warehouses and other properties). Thanks to its TCP/IP and analogue interfaces, you can easily integrate the FLIR F infrared camera with existing systems. The high 640 × 480 resolution provides a very clear, high quality picture, which allows small objects to be detected from a large distance.
The TCP / IP FLIR F is based on a vanadium oxide (VOx) uncooled microbolometer sensor. The FLIR F camera features advanced programming that maintains a high quality thermal image, regardless of the time of day or atmospheric conditions, without any need for manual adjustment. The infrared camera does not focus adjustment regardless of the ambient temperature. Thanks to digital detail enhancement (DDE) algorithms for enhancing details, the image has a high contrast.
The Thermal surveillance camera for shop monitoring - FLIR F for shop monitoring is optimised to work with video detection systems and information systems via the TCP/IP protocol. The information feed from the thermal surveillance camera can be monitored via ethernet using an ordinary computer. The camera also features RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 interfaces using the Pelco D or Bosh protocols. There is no need for special wiring. Easy-to-use Sensor Manager software is also included, which allows full control of the camera over a network from any location and at any time.
The visual range of the camera depends on the applied settings, environmental conditions, operator experience, and the type of display screen that is used to show the images.
ASSUMPTIONS
A 50% probability of detection at a set distance with a temperature difference of 2°C and an atmospheric attenuation factor of 0.85/km.
The Thermal surveillance camera for shop monitoring - FLIR F also allows video streaming in H.264, MPEG-4 or M-JPEG formats with simultaneous analogue video output for previewing (for video monitors or recorders that accept composite signals).
The FLIR F-Series has been designed for use in harsh environments. The infrared camera is well protected against water, dust and mechanical damage (sealed to IP66 standard). In addition, it features a quick-change cartridge system, allowing the camera together with its optics to be quickly repaired or replaced with a different model without needing to dismantle the system. It is also possible to completely eliminate mechanical components by removing the focus adjustment mechanism, which will significantly reduce maintenance costs of the FLIR TCP/IP camera.
