Discovery night vision device is a professional instrument for conducting observation in very difficult conditions, even in complete darkness, used by professional army services in tactical actions.

It is equipped with highest quality components, ensuring comfort of operation even with weak or no light. The 2+ night vision amplifier is based on a microchannel plate which supports night actions. The device's principle of operation is based on ejection of electrons from a photocathode, transfer and ejection of secondary electrons exponentially. Thanks to this, light can be enhanced even 50 000 times! Additionally, the illuminator included in the set enables operation in conditions of complete darkness.

The night vision device ideally proves itself in long distance observation thanks to the application of fivefold image magnification and a high quality optical system. If necessary, 3×, 5× or 8× magnification variants are also available, to meet the customer needs. Glass optics with a double eyepiece with anti-reflective multilayer coating help to obtain real and transparent image. The quality of the generated image is also supported by automatic brightness control which protects both the user and night vision device against exposure to sudden flashes of too strong light.

Adjusting the night vision device to difficult operational conditions is worth mentioning. Its compact and durable housing ensures resistance to mechanical damage and rain and the additional rubber coating protects the device in case of shock or fall. While conducting longer observations, it is worth using the possibility of mounting the night vision device on a tripod.
