AlcoQuant 6020 Plus is a professional breath alcohol tester for the police. It utilises an electrochemical fuel cell sensor immune to substances other than alcohol that might be present in a breath sample. Enhanced stability allows to perform calibration as rarely as once every 12 months.

Due to its construction, based on an electrochemical fuel cell sensor, the AlcoQuant 6020 Plus is utterly insensitive to substances other than alcohol. Electrochemical sensors are frequently employed by uniformed services, during routine employee screening, in rehab clinics, or hospitals. Among other key advantages of the device are its intuitive, 3-button operation, ergonomic shape, waterproof construction, and battery power supply, easy to replace whenever necessary.
The portable breathalyser is operated with use of just 3 buttons. The user is guided through the test process by on-screen notifications.
The portable alco tester was designed to allow both passive and active tests. The former tests the vicinity for alcohol presence, while the latter checks breath samples.
The AlcoQuant® 6020 Plus is equipped in an electrochemical fuel cell sensor, which due to its internal electronic circuitry is sensitive to alcohol only, completely discarding substances such as acetone, carbon dioxide, or eucalyptol.
The device is ready to operate in mere moments. First test can be performed in 6 seconds from turning it on, another after 2 seconds (in case of a 0 mg/l result) or 5 seconds (in case of 0,5 mg/l result).
This police-grade portable breathalyser is powered by 4 × AA batteries, or NiMH rechargeable batteries. Its energy-efficient construction allows to conduct about 2000 tests on a single battery set.
The police breathalyser is compliant with the 2004/108/EC directive and the DIN EN 15964 standard.
The breathalyser comes with built-in memory, allowing to store up to 9999 test results, together with their time and date.
The warranty covers a period of 2 years on electronics parts and one year on the sensor. To take advantage of the warranty you are required to strictly adhere to the manufacturer's recommendations for calibration, which has to be done once every 2000 measurements and no less frequently than once a year.
