Fortis is a digital night vision device by Electrooptic. It has been designed for the purpose of military observations in severe conditions. The thermal imaging binoculars features 5x, 7xfold optical zoom or 1-8x digital zoom. Owing to the high quality CCD converter with the signal gain system, the quality of images is comparable to analogue night vision devices of 2+ generation. Reinforced design and the applied technology make this thermal imaging binoculars usable at any time of the day or night, as well as in adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow or dense dustiness.

Fortis thermal imaging binoculars have been equipped with a built-in image recorder which allows for video recording in 640 × 480 resolution. Recordings are saved on removable memory cards with the maximum supported capacity of 32 GB. Moreover, an innovative WiFi module enables wireless footage transfer within 100 m distance to the devices with Android or iOS system.

Apart from excellent technical parameters the night vision binocular has been equipped with other accessories such as a compass, which together with GPS chip provide easier orientation around the area. Within the view angle of the user there is information about the current position displayed (with the accuracy of up to 2 m). The casing of the device complies with the IP66 standard of resistance, so work with this digital night vision device is a pleasure even in adverse weather conditions.
