HSA-Q1 is a fully portable Hand held spectrum analyzer that has been specially designed to meet the highest requirements. The wiretap detector has a number of advanced functions supporting its work. The biggest advantage is the simplicity of use and the construction made of the highest quality components. Detecting modern impulse signals is possible thanks to instant sweeping in just as much as 0.5 sec in a wide range from 1 MHz to 13.44 GHz. It is possible to set a specific range for a detailed analysis of a specific signal.

Waterfall (Spectrogram) function has been designed to analyse modern digital impulse signals originating from GSM, WiFi or GPS. In addition, it is possible to adjust the sensitivity at 5 levels to detect unknown signals from adjacent rooms.

The hand held spectrum analyzer has the ability to measure the background signals value and store these signals in memory and recall them later. It also compares them to detect new signals that may be potential data leakage channel. New signals are highlighted on the screen, which speeds up their identification by the user. Function signal activity analysis allows detection of transmissions that are hidden in the spectrum of other signals (e.g. a narrowband signal from a camera operating on the 2.4 GHz band hidden in the wider signal spectrum in the WiFi standard). Depending on the duration of each signal, the color changes from blue to red for the signals that are observed in the spectrum for the longest period. Event logging and measurements are performed after connecting the memory to the USB port. Data from the device are saved for further analysis and they are marked with date and time.

Five-level sensitivity adjustment allows you to adapt to the conditions in the room by omitting signals from other sources and concentrating on the deserved ones.

The hand held spectrum analyzer can be also set to a particular frequency by using the cursor (in this mode the sensitivity is enhanced to -100 dBm) and analyze this particular signal (AM/ WFM / NFM) sound demodulation – particularly helpful with standard microwaves using analog transmission. The signal can be playes by the built-in speaker or earphones. The set includes 2 antennas – multielement, integrated and wideband antenna. Additionally, the telescopic antenna helps to detect signals in lower frequencies.

HSA-Q1 has been designed to provide the best parameters while maintaining mobility and comfortable operation. Foldable support allows you to put up devices, e.g. on a desk, facilitating long-term measurements. Low weight, of only 1.3 kg and compact size, clear LCD screen and a simple interface based on buttons provide high work ergonomics. The device is powered by a powerful Li-Poly battery, which lasts for 4 hours of operation, and can work continuously when connected to the AC adapter. The housing is made of very durable aerospace aluminum, and the whole set packed in a waterproof transport case.
