A highly advanced and fully mobile device, Dräger DrugTest 5000 is simple to operate. The user is guided through the entire testing process by means of on-screen notifications. To conduct tests, the saliva tester requires testing cassettes, available in 3 variants. Sample collection is harmless and does not violate the tested person's privacy, since they can collect the samples themselves. Test result confirmation can be quickly and easily printed out using a dedicated Dräger Mobile Printer. Test results can also be easily archived upon connecting the device to an optional keyboard and a computer.

  Instant testing

  The drug tester is ready to work the moment it is switched on. Once the sample is collected, place it in the analyzer and wait for up to several minutes for the result.

  Safety and hygiene of the saliva tester

  Saliva samples are collected in a hygienic and comfortable manner. Once the collected sample is ready for testing, an indicator on the cassette will turn blue. Sample collection takes about one minute, from the moment of placing the cassette in the subject's mouth. The cassettes come with a grip, which allows to pass them to the person conducting the test avoiding contact with bodily fluids.

  The saliva tester can use two power supplies – a built-in battery, or mains power. Fully charged battery enables operation for up to 7 hours, while mains power ensures unlimited operation time.

  The saliva tester features a screen located in its top part, displaying the results of a sample currently tested for specific drugs, such as amphetamine, methadone, ketamine, cannabinols, benzodiazepines, opiates, or cocaine.
