Eavesdropping bug RFBug-04 hidden in the power strip

The eavesdropping hidden in the power strip is an easy way of secret remote listening of the surrounding. This camouflage makes it possible to use the device in any room without raising suspicions.

The eavesdropping bug RFBug-04 provides good quality and clear sound transmission thanks to the sensitive microphone which at the same time minimises noise level (automatic gain function and WFM modulation).

The eavesdropping bug transmits signals through a quartz transmitter using constant transfer within the 410-420 MHz band that is not used by popular radio receivers. This solution reduces the risk of detecting transmission by unauthorised persons. Strength and coverage of the transmitted signal depend on urban density - in open area the coverage can be up to 500 m and in built-up areas up to 200-300 m..

The power strip is made of robust plastic. It has two EU-type sockets and two USB ports which enable e.g. charging mobile devices.
