Japanese company Uniden for years has been supplying the market with advanced listening devices designed for professionals and amateur users. The UBC355CLT wideband scanner offers capabilities available in more expensive models for a small price. A wide search range of 25-960 MHz allows efficient scanning of aviation bands, CB radio (thanks to AM/FM modulation) and amateur frequencies, among others. Practical functions such as CLOSE CALL for locating the strongest signal in the area together with intuitive interface translate into a good quality scanner of aviation frequencies and many other bands.
The UBC355CLT can operate in the 25-30 MHz, 30-87 MHz, 108-137 MHz, 137-174 MHz, 406-512 MHz and 806-960 MHz frequency range. The user can listen to the air, and amateur bands, CB radio (AM/FM modulation), and services (e.g. police, fire department).
Uniden's wideband scanner mcan scan at 90 steps/sec or 270 steps 5 KHz/sec.
The Wideband Scanner comes pre-programmed with the most popular frequencies divided into 8 memory banks: including 3840 Airband channels, 600 CB Band channels and 57 Maritime Band channels. In addition, the user can segregate frequencies into 300 programmable channels.
A practical feature that allows you to quickly search for nearby transmissions while listening to radio signals. In addition, Chain Search allows you to chain search defined ranges.
Keypad lock, which protects against accidental changing of settings, e.g. in transport.
Built-in headphone input allows you to connect headphones or a voice recorder to record correspondence.
Default antenna and an optional antenna can be connected to the antenna connector to extend the reception range.
