Very sensitive microphone guarantees high quality of the recorded sound and is able to record sounds of conversation at the distance of up to 12 m. The signal is sampled at a frequency of 5 to 48 kHz and processed by a microprocessor transducer system with a resolution of 12 bit. It is then saved in lossless PCM 16/8 bit format or with ADPCM 4 bit compression. Audio recordings are saved in the built-in 4 GB memory. A very important feature of the small voice recorder is the security of recordings - they can be encrypted using the 256-bit AES algorithm which makes them useless for unauthorized persons.

The small voice recorder offers various modes of operation

• it can record in a continuous mode, with activation on sound (adjustment of trigger threshold and length of recording),
• according to fixed schedules - weekly (choice of days of the week and hours of recording) or calendar (the user can specify the exact dates and times in which the device is to record).

The small voice recorder is powered with DC voltage in the range of 2 - 3.3 V. Thanks to this solution it can be easily adapt to the actual requirements, e.g. connected permanently, powered by a battery or rechargeable battery package, depending on the needs, it is possible to optimize the working time in relation to the size of the power source. Thanks to energy-saving technology, the device has a low power consumption - from 1 mA in standby mode to 18 mA when recording in the highest quality with 44 kHz sampling.

PC software was included for managing the small voice recorder settings and encrypted recordings. Parameter setting is carried out in a simple and intuitive way, all you need to do is to save the configuration file on the memory card, and after rebooting the recorder the settings will be read from the card.
