Non-Linear Junction Detecto Lornet Star
The Lornet Star non-linear junction detector is a device designed for professional applications. Its main purpose is detection of electronic circuitry. Lornet Star is indisposable during preparation of rooms intendet to hold vital and classified business meetings.
The Non-Linear Junction Detector allows to locate and detec virtually any type of electronic device, regardless of their application or principles of operation. Its extreme precision and efficiency allow to detect potential threats even in locations containing large quantities of electronic equipment. One of the major advantages of the Lornet Star is the ability to locate even the smallest of devices (such as SIM cards) in small spaces, with accuracy up to 1 meter.
The device's principle of operation is based on characteristic common to all semiconductor devices: upon exposure to microwave probing signal, they emit the signal's second and third harmonics. Artificial semiconductors (transistors, diodes, integrated circuits) generate stronger response on 2nd harmonic of the probing signal. Natural oxidations generate stronger response on 3rd harmonic of the probing signal. The Non-Linear Junction Detector is able to analyse both 2nd and 3rd harmonics of the signal, allowing to accurately identify electronic devices and natural metal-oxide semiconductors. The device automatically picks frequency channels with optimal reception and free of interference, which allows to operate it locations of high electromagnetic activity. Frequency tuning algorithm used by the detector automatically chooses probing signal frequency with minimal reception interference for 2nd harmonic.

Lightweight and compact construction of the detector ensures comfort of operation. The Lornet Star is intuitive and simple to use. Results of analysed harmonics are presented in form of bar graphs on a graphic LCD screen. A set of wireless headphones greatly facilitates the work – it notifies the operator with acoustic alarm about detection of potential threats. Automatic frequenct adjustment allows to operate in electromagnetically diverse environment. Apart from conducting radiation analysis, the Lornet Star simultaneously adjusts optimal working parameters.
